About Me
I was born and raised in New Jersey, and I have always had a strong passion for sports. That passion started in high school, when I joined a media class where I anchored our morning live shows and did play-by-play commentary for my high school’s basketball games. That's where I found my values in broadcasting, and it inspired me to pursue a career in sports media and journalism. That is how I became extremely passionate about creating content that inspires people and makes a difference.
I now practice my craft at LSU, one of the country’s premier universities for athletics. I intern with Louisiana Gridiron Football, where I write stories, interview players and coaches, attend elite camps, and record my own podcast. My role as an ambassador for the Manship School of Mass Communication allows me to network with professionals, alumni, students, and faculty. I also get to give tours of our journalism school and offer great advice to incoming students looking to leave their mark on Manship.
Being a sports reporter for LSU Tiger TV was one of my favorite experiences ever. I filmed sporting events, attended press conferences, interviewed coaches and players, produced segments, and created and edited stories. One of the greatest nights of my life was filming the LSU vs. Arkansas football game. These experiences spurred my interest in storytelling and my desire to work hard across many aspects of sports: broadcasting, communications, public relations, operations, customer service, and fan experience.
When I’m not working, I enjoy watching any sport, playing on my Nintendo Switch 2, going to the gym, and cooking. I also like creating content about life and discussing certain sports, and I’m trying to learn how to DJ so I can one day perform in front of a big crowd. I also love to travel, and covering sports will give me that opportunity to travel around the country and even the world.
As a fan, I've attended many games and other sporting events, but recently I’ve been closely observing the people who work in front of the cameras and monitors. Now I know that’s where I want to be, since I've already done it a good amount. I have lots of goals, but my main one is to call a championship game or series, like the Super Bowl, World Series, or CFP National Championship. It would be a blessing to work for a major news company like FOX, CBS, or NBC in any city since I am open to moving anywhere for new experiences. There are many things I still have to learn about the sports business, but I understand how competitive it is, so that’s why I’m doing everything I can to make myself stand out.
