About Me
I was born and raised in New Jersey, and I have always had a strong passion for sports. That passion started in high school, when I joined a media class where I anchored our morning live shows and did play-by-play commentary for my high school’s basketball games. That's where I found my values in broadcasting, and it inspired me to pursue a career in sports media and journalism.
I practiced my craft at LSU, one of the country’s premier universities for athletics. I have held many valuable roles, including serving as an ambassador for the Manship School of Mass Communication. It allowed me to network with professionals, alums, students, and faculty, and I got to give tours of our journalism school and offer great advice to incoming students looking to leave their mark on Manship. Being a sports reporter for LSU Tiger TV was one of my favorite experiences ever, including one of the greatest nights of my life: being on the field filming an LSU vs. Arkansas football game.
When I’m not working, I enjoy watching any sport, playing on my Nintendo Switch 2, going to the gym, and cooking. I also like creating content about life and discussing certain sports, and I’m trying to learn how to DJ so I can one day perform in front of a big crowd. I also love to travel, and covering sports will give me that opportunity to travel around the country and even the world.
As a fan, I've attended many games and other sporting events, but recently I’ve been closely observing the people who work in front of the cameras and monitors. I have lots of goals, but my main one is to call a championship game or series, like the Super Bowl, World Series, or CFP National Championship. It would be a blessing to work for a major news company like FOX, CBS, or NBC in any city since I am open to moving anywhere for new experiences.
This fall, I will be attending Arizona State University to pursue a Master’s Degree in Sports Journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. As excited as I am, I am in no way taking this for granted since I know I have a lot to improve on going into the desert.
